Syncing Sets with Other Users

Contents

FontAgent® allows you to share and sync font sets with other users who belong to your FontAgent Sync workgroup. You specify your workgroup’s members using your account dashboard.

    Making Sets Available to Others

To sync sets with other users in your workgroup, follow these steps:

    1. Select the set you wish to share.
    2. Click the Share button that appears at the top-right of the top Toolbar.
or just Command-Click the font or set and choose Share.

FontAgent then uploads the selected sets and the fonts they contain to your FontAgent Sync workgroup or to your internal FontAgent Server where other users can view and download the fonts.

    Using Sets Shared by Others

Once sets are shared by other users, they are uploaded to the cloud and appear automatically in the Sets Sidebar of FontAgent sessions of all users in your workgroup. You can download, select, view and activate those sets and the fonts they contain.

Please respect and conform to license requirements for your various fonts. To remain in compliance with the terms of your license, please make sure you have licensed enough seats for the fonts you share with others.

    Unsharing Sets on FontAgent Sync

Please respect and conform to license requirements for your various fonts. To remain in compliance with the terms of your license, please make sure you have licensed enough seats for the fonts you share with others.

When you unshare sets in your FontAgent Sync workgroup, the sets become unavailable to everyone in your workgroup, but the fonts in the sets remain available. To make the fonts unavailable as well, you must unshare the fonts.

To once again make unshared sets available to your workgroup, just select the sets and click the Share button in the upper-right toolbar. FontAgent Sync will upload the set to the cloud and re-associate the fonts with the set.

Only parent sets can be shared. Individual subsets cannot be shared with other users. When you share a set that contains nested sets, or subsets, the subsets and the fonts contained will also be shared.
