If you use more than one computer, you can use FontAgent® Sync to synchronize fonts across the systems to provide consistent environments for your workflows.
This page applies to FontAgent Sync Edition and not to the Standard (standalone) and Connected Editions of FontAgent.
Sharing Fonts Across Your Computers
To share fonts with your other computers, follow these steps:
- Select the font or set you wish to share.
- Click the Share button that appears at the top-right of the top Toolbar.
… or just right-click the font or set and choose Share.
FontAgent then uploads the selected fonts and associated tags to the cloud where your other computers can view and download the fonts.
Using Fonts Shared from Your Other Computers
Once you share fonts and sets from your other computers, FontAgent uploads them to the cloud. To access those fonts, click the Sync button in the Toolbar, and then click the Shared set in the Sets Sidebar. FontAgent then displays the shared fonts in its Main Window. You can select, view and activate those fonts just like any other font in your local FontAgent database.
Please respect the license requirements of your various fonts. To remain in compliance with your license terms, please be sure you have licensed enough seats for the fonts you share across devices.
Unsharing Fonts on FontAgent Sync
When you unshare fonts in FontAgent Sync, the fonts become unavailable on your other computers. To once again make unshared fonts available across your machines, just select the fonts and click the Share button in the upper-right toolbar.
