FontAgent provides a number of settings to help you control its font activation functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setting Activation Preferences<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To set these FontAgent activation preferences, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Select the FontAgent > Preferences <\/em>menu command.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Activator<\/em> tab in the Preferences<\/em> dialog.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Enable auto-activation<\/em><\/strong>
    Check this box to enable auto-activation<\/a> in FontAgent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Only for Adobe and Quark apps<\/em><\/strong>
    Check this box to tell FontAgent to auto-activate fonts only in Adobe and Quark apps, and no other applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Show feedback<\/em><\/strong>
    Display Mac pop-up alerts when FontAgent activates and deactivates fonts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Show Conflict Resolver during auto-activation<\/em><\/strong>
    Click a button that indicates whether you want FontAgent to display its     Conflict Resolver<\/a> always, never, or only when it detects a conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Include manually activated fonts<\/em><\/strong>
    Fonts that you activated in your last FontAgent session are     reactivated at startup<\/a>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Include auto-activated fonts<\/em><\/strong>
    Fonts activated automatically in your last session are     reactivated at startup<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
